The Van 100 Watt is a heat lamp for reptiles with which you create a hotspot in the terrarium, with E27 Fitting and UVA radiation.
The right temperature is very important for reptiles. Many reptiles come from areas with other living conditions than with us, often where it is warmer than here. Reptiles are Ecotherm, which means that they cannot maintain their own body temperature: that is why almost all reptiles are important to heat up in the terrarium. With these Trixie lamps you can easily create a so -called 'hotspot': this is the place in the terrarium where it is the warmest and where your animal will gladly sunbathe. This lamp heats through a combination of infrared radiation and UVA radiation. The infrared radiation supports heat regulation and digestion and UvA stimulates natural behavior and appetite. This combination ensures a correct ambient temperature in the terrarium. The lamp gives daylight in a white -yellow shade and is dimmable.
