At the rear, there is cable management (strain relief) to secure cables with cable ties for neat and stable cable routing. This limits mechanical stress on the keystone modules. Due to its design, the panel is intended for keystone modules with a maximum width of 17.8 mm. The metal construction provides mechanical stability and is intended for durable mounting in 10-inch racks. The patch panel contains no active components and functions solely as a passive holder for keystone modules.
