This fiber optic patch cable is designed for making a short connection between a passive fiber optic interface and an active network port within a structured cabling environment according to ISO IEC 11801. The cable is designed as a simplex connection with an SC connector with an 8° APC polish on one side and an LC connector with a UPC finish on the other side, and is suitable for singlemode OS2 G657A2 applications. The connection is an SC-LC fiber optic connection with different polish finishes for applications where low back reflection is required on one side. The LSZH jacket makes the cable suitable for installations where low smoke emission and halogen-free material are required.
