The automatic, multi-stage 12-volt workshop charger includes a wall mount. Ideal for 12V standard, AGM, and gel batteries from 2 Ah - 40 Ah nominal capacity. The charging circuit automatically detects sulfated batteries and initiates their recovery. It also includes a unique, self-adapting program for the vital initial "commissioning charge" of new sealed MF/AGM motorcycle batteries. Six constant current charging settings from 1 Ah - 9 Ah and a 4-stage charging program. Quick activation of new batteries: 30-minute activation charge only for new batteries that have been filled with acid immediately before charging, such as standard wet batteries with removable caps and dry-charged AGM-MF batteries supplied with a separate acid pack. Load tester selectable from 15 A to 150 A: Automatically tests the battery's cranking current up to 330 CCA. A 3-second test simulates normal engine starting/cranking, and a 15-second test determines the battery's health. Motorsports-specific charging algorithm: 4-stage charging saves any 12V battery. MF mode allows up to 16.9V for dry-charged AGM batteries. Temperature-regulated charging: Charging voltage is adjusted to ambient temperature. (-4 mV/°C/cell above/below 68°F/20°C). Accurate voltage measurement: The charging cables are equipped with integrated voltage sensor wires for accurate voltage measurement at the battery. User-friendly: The 6-position combination field switch allows selection of the correct test and charge current for the connected battery. TEST and then, according to the result, select the maximum charging duration, press the CHARGE button. The program automatically completes charging and then tests the battery.
