Its angled clamp is located more centrally than its predecessor, so that the reservoir is supported at the outer end by the handlebars. The result is increased rigidity, a more direct braking sensation and greater overall control. Weight-saving carbon and magnesium were used for Cross Country applications. Another novelty is the I-Spec EV mounting option for integrating a shifter with even more adjustment options. The one-piece aluminium brake caliper with 2 ceramic pistons stands for reliable Ice-Tech brake power, stability and low weight and can be bled very easily using One Way Bleeding. J-Kit J-Kit is a simple line connection system for hydraulic brakes from Shimano, so that you can install your brakes quickly and easily. The brake hose does not come connected to the brake to facilitate routing of the hose in the frame. The brake hose is already filled with oil in the J-Kit and sealed with a thin membrane. There is a small pin in the J-Kit brake lever that pierces this diaphragm during assembly to allow oil to flow.
