Leak-Stop impregnates seals, restoring their elasticity, causing them to swell, and thereby eliminating the leak. Suitable for all oil circulation systems (e.g., engine, automatic and manual transmissions, differentials, power steering, hydraulic systems, and much more) of cars, trucks, boats, tractors, motorcycles, and more. Leak-Stop can be added to the oil both for existing leaks and as a preventative measure. Note: Not suitable for motorcycle wet clutches! Application: Shake bottle well before use. Leak-Stop is added to the oil circuit to be sealed in an amount of 3% of the total oil volume, e.g., oil volume 5 l = 150 ml Leak-Stop. The unit should then run for approx. 20 minutes so that the additive is distributed and reaches the areas to be sealed. Leak-Stop develops its effect over the subsequent 3 operating hours or after approx. 50 – 100 km.
