UV Leak Detection Additive for Car Air Conditioning Systems A very precise and simple method for making even the smallest leaks in car air conditioning systems visible. An ultraviolet dye is injected into the A/C system. This UV agent is ester oil-based and circulates with the oil through the system. It escapes at the smallest leaks and can be made visible with a special UV lamp (not a blue light lamp). Before adding, ensure that only solvent-free UV additives are used (SAE J2297 certified) and that the compressor manufacturer's warranty conditions have been observed.
