In 1865, the folding rule was invented by Anton Ullrich, the uncle of Stabila's founder. In addition to the original wooden material, which was constantly improved in various ways through special treatment, plastic folding rules were introduced. Today, thanks to its exceptionally good varnishes, high-quality woods, or fiberglass-reinforced plastics, the folding rule is a good measuring tool with very high utility value.
