Our ingredients

To make our food, we dry 10.6 kg of meat for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amounts of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy and nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-raised, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh flavor and rich color, and it's packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together give our kibble its delicious flavor and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry promote healthy muscle growth and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide your dog with extra valuable nutrients, we've added super-healthy vegetables to our food. This means vegetables are not only nutritious, but also offer other health benefits. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, providing your dog with all the essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be beneficial for your dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath and healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health.

Spices

The healthy herbs that enrich our food are derived from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, and algae, among other things, goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its beneficial properties. Depending on the dog's size, breed, or breed group, specific ingredients are highlighted. Breed-specific ailments can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

Saluki specific vegetables; herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the Saluki's breed characteristics. We have also investigated the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Saluki belongs. Based on this research, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, we have selected ingredients that optimally benefit the Saluki's health and well-being.

Marigold

The marigold (calendula) is a plant that, like goldenrod, belongs to the Asteraceae family. Calendula is a cultivated flower; it has been used for centuries for its various medicinal properties. The original calendula species probably grew in Asia and Eastern Europe; but this field marigold is rarely found in the wild anymore. Marigold is also beneficial for humans.
