This project creates jobs, cleans rivers and protects the oceans. This is done by placing Trash Barriers in rivers, stopping plastic from ending up in the ocean. Local teams then clean the barriers and sort the waste. The barriers prevent thousands of kilos of waste from ever reaching the ocean. The more barriers, the more plastic can be cleaned up.
