The Big Apple is a revolutionary balloon bike that set the trend ten years ago for comfortable cycling without expensive spring techniques. With air cushion tires as a natural suspension, this bike rolls miraculously light and offers complete spring operation. In comparison with normal tires of 37 mm wide, the Big Apple only needs to be pumped up to 2 bar to roll similarly well. With a width of 2.35 inches and a band diameter of 26 inches, this tire is suitable for mountain bikes. The Big Apple has a maximum pressure of 4 bar (55 PSI) and is equipped with Schwalbe Puncture Protection with Raceguard technology. With a weight of 780 grams, this tire is light and durable.
