De Gazelle Impulse heeft een krachtige accu voor lange ritten. Impulse accu’s worden op de bagagedrager geplaatst en zijn eenvoudig uitneembaar. Deze accu’s zijn geschikt voor de HMI fietsen oftewel Hybride Mid Impulse e-bikes. De accu's die gebruikt kunnen worden zijn onderverdeeld in zilver, goud en platina varianten, waarbij het verschil merkbaar is in de capaciteit en actieradius.
