Thanks to its precise and smooth operation, you can enjoy reliable and immediate shifting performance on all your rides, without worrying about battery charge levels. FD-R7100 features an innovative toggle link design that gives you more cable routing options. The integrated tensioner facilitates adjustment, allows on-the-go adjustments and makes for a cleaner cockpit by eliminating the need for an in-line shift cable adjuster. In keeping with the trend towards wider tyres, the model has generous tyre clearance. It is available for braze-on and for clamp mounting, so that it can be easily installed on your bike. The front derailleur is partly made of steel and partly of plastic, which provides more durability and keeps the weight low. The braze-on version weighs about 50 grams less than its electronic counterpart.
