De Shimano Altus FD-M2000 voorderailleur is speciaal ontworpen voor mechanisch schakelen (met kabel) en is alleen compatibel met 9-speed cassettesystemen. Deze voorderailleur heeft een capaciteit van 3 x 9 speed en kan gemonteerd worden met behulp van een klemband van 28,6/34,9mm. Het grootste werkbare kettingblad is 40 tanden.
