ISM 4D The ISM 4D (Inter Spoke Milling 4 Dimensions) milling process noticeably reduces weight and inertia without sacrificing durability. Mavic's exclusive patent also provides better aerodynamics with its new rim profile. ISM 4D rims are up to 50 g lighter and therefore offer more climbing performance. Their minimal inertia leads to maximum acceleration. Their extra aerodynamic rim profile results in significantly lower air resistance.
