The Controltech EXL Flat Bar is designed with a sturdy, unidirectional carbon design that provides extreme strength with minimal weight. With aligned fibers of unidirectional carbon, the lay-up is very precise, resulting in enormous strength in critical directions. Weighing only 198 grams for the 700mm, this stem is very light yet strong.
- Choice of two widths to fine-tune the fit without cutting
- 9° backsweep and 4° upsweep for a natural wrist angle, comfort, control and safety on rough trails
- Zero rise makes this ideal for 29er trail bikes with a high front end
- Upsweep gives the feel of a riser bar without the height difference
- Fits any 31.8mm stem
- Careful design dampens trail buzz thanks to the natural ability of carbon fiber
