Thanks to FCd (Full Contour design) Technology, the entire area of the airbox inlet is used as filter media. This increases the filter area by 20-80%, increases airflow, and thus boosts engine performance. The increased airflow also reduces fuel consumption. The DNA filter media consists of four layers of special DNA cotton fabric held together by two coated aluminum wire mesh screens. The special pleating technique of the filter media increases the inner radius of the pleat tips, and the resulting surfaces provide additional filtration. Care instructions: The filter should be cleaned and oiled once a year or every 15,000 - 30,000 km. The filter must not be used unoiled as the filter media will otherwise not achieve optimal filtration. Only DNA service products may be used for cleaning and oiling!
