Siberia, 1919. During a transport by train, a large part of Tsar Nicholas' gold treasure is stolen. To this day, it remains the largest train robbery of all time and the gold has never been recovered. California, 2003. Young Vlad is an American of Russian descent. When his grandfather dies, he inherits a map showing a gold treasure. Together with his friend he leaves for Russia to seek fortune. He soon draws the attention of the FBI and corrupt ex-KGB agents, who kill dead people to get their hands on the map. When Vlad also gets the Russian mafia after him, his death sentence seems to have been signed. But driven by gold fever, Vlad manages to dodge bullets and avoid explosions. But will Vlad be able to find the gold and shake off his attackers at the same time?
