The bulb is dimmable. No warm-up time needed, and thanks to its long lifespan and low energy consumption, it's also cost-saving! This is a step-dimming bulb. Step-dimming bulbs are dimmable without needing a separate dimmer. You can dim the bulb with your existing switches, whether they are wall, cord, product, or foot switches. Step-dimming bulbs have three different brightness levels: 100%, 50%, and 25%. If the bulb is switched off and on again within 3 seconds, it automatically switches to the next brightness level. If the the bulb remains switched off for longer than 3 seconds, 100% brightness is automatically available the next time you switch it on. Please note: LED bulbs have new energy labels. The new classification ranges from A to G, instead of A++ to E. As a result, many bulbs that previously had the A++ label now have the E label. This does not mean that the LED bulbs we sell are less sustainable. Below you will find a link to an article with more explanation about the new energy labels. The number of Watts is the energy consumption of the lamp. The number of Watts is the consumption per hour. A 60W lamp that is on for 10 hours therefore consumes 60 x 10 = 600 Watt-hours. What are lumens? Lumens are a unit of light output. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the lamp emits. This has nothing to do with the color of the light. To compare lamps, it is best to compare the number of lumens. The greater the number of lumens, the higher the amount of light. amount of light (lumens) energy consumption incandescent bulb (w) energy consumption energy-saving lamp (w) energy consumption our LED bulb (w) 100-150 15W 200-250 20W 4W 3W 300 25W 5W 4W 400-500 40W 9W 5W - 6W 700-850 60W 11W 9W - 10W 900-1100 75W 15W >1300 100W 20W Our LED bulbs have low energy consumption for a large amount of light compared to incandescent or energy-saving bulbs. Environmental information about LED bulb - Sphere - E27 - 806 lm - Clear - Step dimming Unlike traditional lighting, LED lamps use much less energy. With LED lighting, 95% of the energy is converted into light. This means that only a small part is converted into heat, which significantly reduces energy consumption. An LED lamp can therefore produce as much light as an incandescent or halogen lamp with only a fraction of the power. In addition, LED lighting does not get hot, which makes the risk of burnout much smaller than with an incandescent bulb. LED also handles shocks and vibrations better. LED lighting can therefore last up to 50,000 operating hours. A big difference compared to incandescent bulbs with a maximum of 1000 operating hours and halogen lamps of 3500 operating hours.
