This set of 25 pairs of sintered disc brake pads is suitable for Magura MT5/7 brakes. With the Elvedes range, you're choosing good quality at a great price. The brake pads are available in three different compounds, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
- Organic: Ideal for dry conditions, suitable for MTB, trekking and racing bikes.
- Sintered: Ideal for wet conditions, suitable for MTB.
- Metallic carbon (semi-metallic): Ideal for both wet and dry weather conditions, suitable for e-bikes.
After installation, it's important to bed in the brake pads to extend their lifespan. This can be done by gently pulling the brake lever while riding, ensuring the pads make contact with the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph), then brake harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph). Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure the new brake pads are properly bedded in.
