ABEC 3 MAX: MAXimum quantity of Grade 10 steel balls. Specially designed for rear suspension pivot points. These bearings can handle a load that is 35 – 40% higher than that of standard bearings. The MAX bearing uses CRC marine grease, which provides maximum protection. Even salt water has no effect on this bearing. The LLU seals provide maximum protection against the elements. LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike standard 2RS, we go a step further by mechanically placing a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance compared to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal that rubs against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 sealing lips, as fine as a razor blade that slides into a notch with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
