STAINLESS: Enduro Bearings produces certain series of bearings made with 440C stainless steel balls. This material offers maximum corrosion resistance in all conditions. Depending on the application, Abec 3 or Abec 5 quality is used. Stainless steel balls have 20% less capacity than the 52100 steel balls used in most of our bearings, but they do offer better corrosion protection. Enduro Bearings uses a CRC marine grease in these bearings as extra protection against contamination. LLU: Similar to our LLB type seals, the LLU is a contact seal where the double "lips" are housed in a recess of the inner ring. Providing a better seal, these seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly in contact with salt, sweat, and dust. This improved seal and the 2 "lips" help retain 90% of the grease we use in the bearings, thus protecting it from moisture and continuously lubricating the balls and the raceway.
