The GARDENA Programming Unit (1242-20) provides automatic control of irrigation computers or larger sprinkler systems and is therefore ideal for use in areas without a power connection. It is ideal when the water quantity is insufficient for simultaneous operation of the entire system, which consists of several irrigation systems. Even with varying water requirements for individual plant areas, the GARDENA Programming Unit regulates the individual watering intervals for each pipe, allowing for individual and optimal irrigation. The GARDENA Programming Unit is used to program the GARDENA Controller (1250). Data transfer to the Controller is simply a button press after connection. After programming, the Controller is mounted on GARDENA Irrigation Valves 9 V (1251-20) and controls them according to set times. Up to six watering activities can be selected per day. The watering days and cycles can be programmed individually; The watering duration can be flexibly adjusted from one minute to 9 hours and 59 minutes. This device operates on a single 9V alkaline battery (not included). This battery lasts for approximately one year.
