Sam is super shy and very well-behaved, but in the company of Julia he ventures on adventures that he would otherwise never dare. Together they form an inseparable duo. 'The Mouse House - Sam and Julia' is a timeless story that should absolutely not be missing from every child's bookcase. The history of the Muizenhuis started with Karina Schaapman, a Dutch children's book writer and artist. In 2008, with patience, precision and an incredible eye for detail, she started building hundreds of buildings full of mouse-sized houses, shops, streets and outdoor spaces. The Mouse House was made entirely by hand from waste materials and vintage elements and resulted in a series of beautiful children's books, of which 'The Mouse House' was the first part. Using the books from the Mouse House series, you will always get to know a new part of the mouse world.
