The Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 USB drive with 16GB of storage offers premium, business-grade security with FIPS 197-certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode, including protection against BadUSB with digitally signed firmware and brute-force password attacks. The VP50 series is also TAA compliant.
- Supports multiple passwords (administrator, user, and one-time reset) with Complex or Passphrase modes
- Traditional Complex Mode allows passwords of 6-16 characters using 3 of the 4 character sets
- New Passphrase mode allows for a numeric PIN, phrase, list of words, or song lyrics from 10 to 64 characters long
- Brute Force attack protection locks user passwords or one-time recovery passwords after 10 invalid passwords
- Read-only mode to write-protect the disk
- Built-in virtual keyboard protects passwords from keyloggers or screenloggers
- FIPS 197 certified and TAA compliant
