The Marumi EXUS circular polarizing filters are used for special situations. For example, when photographing objects behind glass, such as in a museum, a polarizing filter can suppress the reflective effect of the glass. By turning the front section of the filter, you can choose whether the water is reflective or whether you want to photograph "in depth." Also consider shooting snow, plants, or through a window. A polarizing filter is ideal for landscape photography; by turning the filter, you can bring out different shades of blue. Another effect of using a polarizing filter is that a cloudy sky gains significantly more contrast.
