A T2 adapter ring is used to connect your SLR camera to the camera adapter of devices like telescopes, microscopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes. You then screw the appropriate camera adapter onto your telescope, and then use a T2 ring to adapt this adapter to the bayonet mount on your SLR camera. You then remove the lens from your camera and click the T2 ring directly onto the camera body.
