A T2 adapter ring is used to connect your SLR camera to the camera adapter of, for example, telescopes, microscopes, binoculars and spottingcopes. On your telescope you then, for example, screw a camera adapter belonging to the telescope, and with a T2 ring you make this camera adapter suitable for the bayonet connection on your SLR camera.
