For this to work, a Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx) is required. This allows you to automatically do many different things, such as notifying you when someone is at home or sending you a reminder when a door or window is left open. By combining this sensor with other products in the Nedis SmartLife application, you can activate any additional Nedis SmartLife product when a door opens (e.g. light, smart plug, alarm) or switch off the heating or air conditioning when a door is left open. Thanks to its compact size and the included battery with a lifespan of up to one year (at six activations per day), you can place this sensor wherever you want (within a range of approximately 30 metres from the Zigbee gateway).
