Place sturdy cardboard under the fabric or between the bottom and top. Soft, ribbed textiles (e.g. T-shirts) should be stretched a little. Always work with the fabric structure when painting! Paint the motif with powerful strokes. The color must be applied thickly so that the wax can fully embed itself around the fiber. Rather unsuitable for fine contours, which are better drawn with a contour pen (e.g. for textile/brush painters). When the motif is finished, place absorbent paper under the textile and iron the motif from the back (without steam) until no more color adheres to the paper. Then iron the front without paper. Wash the dyed fabric no sooner than 2 days later at 40°C with a mild detergent - without optical brightener.
