This is possible with Riess enamel sets. The soft yet distinctive appearance of enamel is a must-have for every beautiful kitchen. With this pan, you can beautifully prepare your eggs in various ways, poach them, and, for example, fry them. Omelet(s), scrambled eggs, egg dishes, fried eggs: our egg pan is perfect for these and many other egg dishes. It's the right size for omelets and other egg dishes. The iron core of the enameled pan distributes heat optimally and quickly across the bottom of the pan, allowing the heat to be reduced quickly, as egg dishes cannot tolerate excessively high temperatures. And once the eggs are cooked, the pan with its two handles is perfect as a serving pan from which to eat, as enamel is cut and scratch-resistant. Riess enamel pans are loved far beyond Austria's borders. They evoke memories of grandmother's time. However, these nostalgic enamel pans are still made and used in today's contemporary kitchens. The simple shapes, good materials, and beautiful colors appeal to people who appreciate timeless quality and durability. An enamel pan lasts a lifetime! Enamel is nothing more than iron fused with silicon-like glass at a temperature of 850°C. This fusion makes the surface very smooth, hard, and non-porous. It also gives the enamel its beautiful light colors, giving your kitchen a unique look. The material also becomes scratch and cut-resistant, and metal oxides are minimally used. This way, your food remains pure and natural in taste. Specifications Enamel pan for omelets and other egg dishes Material: enamel Particularly suitable for people with a nickel allergy Diameter: 18cm 4cm H Color: golden yellow, like a delicious egg, creamy inside Two enamel handles Suitable for all types of stoves (gas, electric, ceramic glass, induction, open fire). For energy-efficient cooking Heat resistant up to 450°C - maximum recommended operating temperature 220° Suitable for ovens Cut and scratch-resistant Bacteria-inhibiting and aroma-neutral Easy to clean Recyclable CO2-neutral production in Austria Tip: To fry eggs in an enameled pan, you need butter or oil, but not too high a temperature. The best way to test this is to put a drop of the egg mixture into the egg pan. It should not contract immediately, as this means the pan is too hot. If nothing happens, the pan is too cold. Only when the drops have hardened slightly does the pan reach the optimal temperature. Now add the entire mixture, turn the heat down slightly as the enamel retains heat, and wait until the omelet easily detaches from the bottom of the pan, then flip the omelet. We have listed ten good reasons for you: CO2-neutral For Induction and all types of cookers Very scratch-resistant Easy to clean and anti-bacterial Optimal for healthier and energy-saving cooking Odor-neutral Heat resistant up to 450 °C - maximum recommended temperature at 220 °C Long-lasting if well-treated Available in many colors and designs Recyclable Tips for use Before first use, remove labels with cooking oil. Choose a hob with the correct diameter for your pans to prevent energy loss. Never heat enamel pans without contents (water, oil, butter) and ensure that the liquid never completely evaporates. This can lead to overheating and damage to your pan. The recommended maximum temperature for cooking and frying is 220 °C. Cook with less heat than usual. Enamel conducts heat quickly in the base and walls. Your dishes are gently cooked, retain nutrients, and improve taste. Furthermore, this prevents the risk of burning, reduces energy consumption, and extends the life of the pans. Reduce the temperature in time, observing the cooking process. When cooking with hot oil/fat, there is a risk of ignition. Do not leave small children unsupervised near stoves and hot pans. Always grasp handles and lids with a dry cloth. The core is made of iron and heats up quickly. Most of our products have enamel handles and lids and can also be used in the oven. Enamel is very hard. However, the impact of hard objects on the base, hard knocks, or powerful taps with metal utensils against the rim can lead to cracking of the glass surface. If, despite all care, the paint layer on the outside peels off, this is only visually disturbing. You can still prepare your dishes with the product. If the enamel on the inside peels off, we recommend replacing the product as optimal hygiene is no longer guaranteed. Maintenance The glass surface of enamel not only inhibits bacteria but is also very easy to clean. Riess pans are dishwasher safe, with a light glass program giving the best result. Nevertheless, we recommend washing the pans by hand for long-lasting radiant shine. Manual cleaning Fill the pan with water while it is still warm after cooking and emptying. After only a short time, softened food residues can be effortlessly removed. Extremely stuck-on or burned food residues can be cleaned with boiling water and dish soap. Then clean with the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush. Cleaning with the dishwasher Remove food residues or burned food (see 'Manual cleaning') and rinse the pan with warm water before placing your pan in the dishwasher. Use the light glass program of your dishwasher. Cleaning products and tools We recommend cleaning with mild abrasive cleaners and soft sponges or soft brushes. Avoid using harsh tools such as steel brushes, steel wool, abrasive cleaners based on sand, and sponges with ceramic particles. These can leave scratches on the surface. If the surface shows scratches due to the use of incorrect cleaning agents or tools, the shine of the pan will diminish. However, the pan can still be used without problems. Black spots or gray streaks often come from stainless steel cutlery and can be effortlessly removed with a mild abrasive cleaner or Riess's special enamel cleaner. Correct storage Store enamel pans very dry, just like glass. Water stains can be effortlessly removed with vinegar water. Tips for Induction Cooking The heat conductivity of Riess enamel pans is extremely fast. Please observe the following instructions so that cookware and food do not overheat. Overheating can even deform the base of a heavy pot and pan. Observe the hob's user instructions regarding the power of the switching steps (Watt). Here are some guidelines: Boiling water at 100 °C = 500 Watt Frying at 180 °C = approx. 1,700 Watt Ensure that the diameter of the pan and hob match as much as possible. Always start with a low heat output and gradually increase to the desired output. NEVER use the boost function (with the exception of large quantities of liquid from 6 liters). Constantly monitor the cooking process. The automatic shutdown by means of the temperature sensors often does not react quickly enough in case of overheating. Do not touch the ceramic surface of the hob after cooking. It can be very hot due to the heated pan base. COOKING ON INDUCTION The heat conductivity of Riess enamel pans is extremely fast.
