Then each team has five kubbs which they place at their feet. The king stands in the very center of the field. One team must knock over the other team's kubbs. Knocking over is only allowed if the tip of the beam-shaped throwing stick lands on the kubb. The team has six throwing sticks per turn. The kubbs you knocked over in that turn can be used as a defensive line for your own kubbs. The other team must then knock over your defensive line before they can start on your other kubbs.
