This derailleur is designed for riders who want smooth, precise and quiet shifting - even on technically challenging trails. Thanks to the proven Shadow RD+ technology, this derailleur offers more chain control, less chatter and a quieter ride. The RD-M6000 is part of Shimano's Dyna-Sys 10-speed drive system and delivers excellent performance when combined with wider cassettes, ideal for both steep climbs and fast descents. The mid-length cage (GS) provides a perfect balance between chain capacity and ground clearance - perfect for aggressive trail use. The integrated switch on the derailleur cage allows you to adjust the tension of the spring. In the "ON" position the chain remains tight and stable, which prevents chain chatter. In the "OFF" position you make changing the rear wheel a lot easier. Main features:
