The Sixton Peak Montana 81156-22 from the Endurance collection is a sturdy, comfortable safety boot. The brown upper is made of greased nubuck leather, which has been treated with Sixton's Hydrotech technology for extra water-repellent properties. If water does penetrate the nubuck, it will not reach further than the HDry membrane that is placed between the upper and the inner lining. This hydrophilic textile not only retains water, it also prevents it from collecting between layers. The inside of the boot has a temperature-regulating Airplus 3D lining, pleasantly warm or cooling, depending on the outside temperature. The insole has been specially chosen for its extra cold-resistant properties. An anti-perforation midsole keeps sharp objects out. This is not metal, but a synthetic material that works just as effectively. Toe protection is provided by a layer of ultra-light plastic composite. This provides protection against an impact of up to 200 joules. No metal in these places not only means more resistance to electricity, but also that less cold is retained! An integrated ankle brace (Dynamic HC control) and footrest (Stabil Active) keep the heel in the correct position, provide support to the heel and arch and control the lateral movement of the ankle. Dual Micro heel padding ensures that the Montana fits snugly around the heel and prevents wear and tear on this part of the boot.
