The Sixton Peak Montana from the Endurance collection is a sturdy, comfortable safety boot. The upper of this 81156-23 variant is made of greased nubuck leather, which has been treated with a Hydrotech PU coating to repel water extra well. The inside of the boot has a wool lining, ideal for work in cold weather conditions. This practically cannot get wet thanks to the HDry (formerly OutDry) membrane that is placed between the lining and the outside! This stops water and pushes it back out. Wearing comfort is thus guaranteed! The Dual Insulation insole is also specially made for winter use and keeps the foot warm and dry. An anti-perforation midsole prevents the penetration of sharp objects. Dynamic HC control and Stabil Active keep the heel in the correct position, provide support to the heel and arch and control the lateral movement of the ankle. Dual Micro heel padding ensures that the shoe fits snugly around the heel, prevents wear and increases wearing comfort. The safety toe is made of ultra-light metal-free composite; thermo-insulating and does not conduct electricity, but still offers protection against an impact of up to 200 joules. The PU/PU outsole is shock-absorbing and, with its SRC standard, offers excellent stability and anti-slip. Conductive WED strips give this shoe anti-static properties. A crawl toe makes the toe of the boot much more wear-resistant than is normally the case. This is particularly useful if you regularly work on your knees. Like every Montana, this boot is also completely metal-free!
