The Smartwares RM250/2 Smoke Detectors are essential for timely action in the event of a fire. The smoke detector features an optical sensor that responds quickly to smoldering fires and reduces false alarms. The replaceable battery lasts one year and the sensor lasts 10 years. It also includes a low battery indicator and a mute function. Install at least one smoke detector on each floor and in escape routes such as hallways, landings, and stairs. Mount the smoke detectors to the ceiling and keep them free of dust and dirt. Test their functionality monthly by pressing the test button.
