Kolossos is designed to seamlessly fit and mount onto your current rear derailleur. Oversized derailleur pulleys are all the rage these days. Larger derailleur pulleys cause less deformation in the chain and slower rotations in the bearings. Both lead to less friction and more efficient power transfer from legs to wheels. Kogel's goal was to build a cage so stiff it would hold the chain like a cage, while providing all the benefits of oversized, low-drag pulleys. Kolossos is 3x stiffer than the main competitor and 2x stiffer compared to the original cage on your derailleur. Built to provide low friction while maintaining shifting accuracy. Designed with long teeth on the lowest pulley for optimal chain tension. Stiffest derailleur cage on the market for the most accurate shifting with an oversized system. Both race and off-road use. Three times stiffer than the competitor.
