The Instant PoE Gigabit is an add-on module used to convert conventional 802.3af PoE to 24V passive PoE. This module allows Ubiquiti components supporting 24V PoE to be integrated into an existing infrastructure without the need for new PoE switches. Integrated surge protection protects the infrastructure at voltages up to 15,000 volts. The new Instant PoE Gigabit can support high-speed LAN speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.
