Using the Vortex mounting rings is simple and intuitive. Start by loosening the top ring half from the bottom. Then disconnect the ring clamp at the bottom left, after which you place the whole thing on the Weaver or Picatinny rails. After you have done this, place the scope on the lower ring halves and loosely attach the upper ring half to it. This offers the possibility to position the riflescope as desired for optimal ease of use. Finally, tighten the screws securely to get your scope ready for action.
