The blade diameter of conventional electrician's screwdrivers is often too large to reach deep-set screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises one's own safety. In Wiha slimTechnology, specifically developed for electrical applications, the insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades up to 33% slimmer. This allows the slimBits to easily reach even deep-set screw and spring elements. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a one-piece inspection in accordance with the international IEC 60900 standard and enable safe working near live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Furthermore, the slimBits are stored in a clever bit box that provides an optimal view of the screw profiles.
