If emulsifying bile salts are added to this, skin-friendly cleansing is no longer possible. Bile soap was developed for removing grease and protein stains from textiles and, like bile acid, is not intended for skin care. Therefore, bile soap has not been tested for skin compatibility, as the product is not designed for human skin.
