In the female anatomy, the average position of the pubic symphysis (front cartilage connecting the two halves of the pelvis) is a quarter lower than in the male pelvis, and the angle of the pubic bones is wider. Additionally, mobility is higher in women, so their pelvis often slides further forward in the saddle. This can cause high pressure in the genital area.
