Our ingredients:

To make our food, we dry-cure 10.6 kg of meat for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to incorporate into our kibble. With the right amounts of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo:

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-raised, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh flavor and rich color, and it's packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Poultry:

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together give our kibble its delicious flavor and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry promote healthy muscle growth and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables:

Spices:

The healthy herbs that enrich our food are derived from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, and seaweed, among other things, goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its beneficial properties. Depending on the dog's size, breed, or breed group, specific ingredients are highlighted. Breed-specific ailments can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

Sheltie-specific vegetables, herbs, and fruits:

We carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Sheltie. We also investigated the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Sheltie belongs. Based on this research, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, we selected ingredients that optimally benefit the Sheltie's health and well-being.

Thyme:

Thyme is a genus in the Lamiaceae family. It includes herbaceous or woody plants with a highly aromatic scent. The Greeks and Romans used thyme as a medicinal herb for lung diseases, rheumatism, paralysis, stomach cramps, tumors, headaches, colic, and nervous deficiencies.

The medicinal properties of thyme are confirmed by the high levels of vitamin K it contains.
